About The Position
Performs a wide variety of nuclear medicine and/or PET (Photon Emission Tomography) procedures, including whole body imaging for oncology, nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging. Performs pharmaceutical and instrument quality control.
Requirements
- 2 years experience required
- CNMT OR ARRT
- BLS
- Completion of a certificate program that specializes in positron emission tomography.
- Reg Technologist (N) or Cert Nuclear Med Technologist required
- Basic Life Support required
Responsibilities
- Performs whole body imaging for oncology, nuclear cardiology, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging.
- Performs pharmaceutical and instrument quality control.
- Maintains records for state and federal agencies.
