About The Position

The Multimodality Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, performs imaging in two or more disciplines. At least 25% of their work focuses on advanced areas like CT, MR, Nuc Med, or IR. They work with ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider for diagnosing disease and injury, following established protocols.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an Accredited Program.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless the role is MRI or Ultrasound.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities.
  • Works 50% of the time in the second modality.

Responsibilities

  • Performs imaging in two or more disciplines.

  • Works with ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or licensed provider for diagnosing disease and injury, following established protocols.
