About The Position
The MRI Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, performs MRI procedures on patients. These are requested by a physician or licensed provider for diagnosing disease and injury, following established protocols.
Requirements
- 1+ years of acute care hospital MRI experience
- 3T and 1.5T GE scanner experience
- Experience with anesthesia patients, and patients with pacemakers and other implants
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT(MR) or Radiography ARRT(R) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
- On call requirements: 1 week per month; must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
