About The Position

The Manager of Radiology will work under the general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, responsible for the management of patient care, day-to-day operations and department personnel. As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging management team, assists in the development of department goals, objectives and standards, budget development, preparation and control, quality assurance, patient experience and department education. The Radiology Manager coordinates department activities to include regulatory requirements, equipment quality control/maintenance, and performance improvement. You’ll be responsible for hiring, supervising and evaluating team members. Serves as an effective liaison between Diagnostic Imaging staff, leaders, and other department leaders and medical staff. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent in related HealthCare field
  • Minimum three (3) years clinical experience
  • Current certification or registration in a Diagnostic Imaging Modality
  • Current State of Connecticut Radiologic Technologist Licensure
  • Experience with PACS and digital technology
  • Knowledge of FDA, DPG, ACR, MQSA and other regulatory standards
  • Continuous improvement and project management
  • Demonstrates strong leadership behaviors

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of Supervisory experience
