About The Position
Under general supervision the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist assists Cardiologists and Radiologists in the performance of interventional angiographic and therapeutic procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients by imaging, monitoring, or scrub assisting for these physicians while maintaining a safe quality patient environment. Requirements
- Coursework/Training and Formal training in radiology procedures. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Coursework/Training and participation in continuing education program.
- 2 years of experience in a special procedures or Cardiovascular Lab.
