About The Position
The X-Ray Student Extern will assist licensed radiologic technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures under supervision, in accordance with clinical training objectives. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience and enhance the student’s knowledge and skills in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school radiology
- Successfully enrolled in radiology program
- BLS
- FLSA Status: Salary Grade: Skills: #LI-AP1
Responsibilities
- Assists in providing nursing care to patients under general supervision
- Assists in assessment of physical, psychological and social dimensions of patients
- Assists in planning and implementing a formal plan of patient care.
- Assists in evaluating nursing care provided.
- Implements/documents clinical and technical aspects of care assignment in accordance with established policies and procedures and validated skills performance standards.
