About The Position

Requirements

• Requires Bachelor's degree
• Requires five years experience managing Radiologic operations in a hospital setting
• Requires thorough knowledge of Radiology services and applicable regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Masters preferred
• technical experience preferred
• Working knowledge of marketing concepts is preferable.
• Florida CRT license preferred
• ARRT Certification preferred
• BLS Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow, patient scheduling, and equipment maintenance for modalities like X-ray, MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
• Ensure the facility meets accreditation requirements, such as those from the Joint Commission and the American College of Radiology.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate radiology technologists, while maintaining optimal staff coverage and competency standards.
• Develop and oversee departmental budgets, including forecasting needs for new imaging technology and capital improvements.
• Monitor quality assurance protocols and enforce radiation safety guidelines.
