Radiology/CT Technologist-Outpatient - The Sanctuary
About The Position
The Radiology/CT Technologist performs diagnostic radiology imaging, including routine, mobile, operating room, fluoroscopy, and emergency procedures. The role also performs routine CT imaging, including head, abdomen, pelvis, and chest procedures. The technologist complies with state and federal regulations for radiation use and safety; evaluates the diagnostic quality of recorded images; and provides appropriate, safe patient care. The position works positively with customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction, participates in performance-improvement initiatives, and assists with staff and student orientation and training. The technologist may transport non-narcotic medication as directed and must participate in an on-call rotation according to department needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited or ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
- Florida Radiologic Technology License.
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) certification.
