Requirements
- Works independently.
Responsibilities
- Answers telephone, accesses dictaphone system, order and work-up exams, contact ordering physicians as needed to clarify orders.
- Maintains x-ray films and file room, requests previous folders from Radiology archives.
- Distributes films and reports to respective radiology areas.
- Contacts other facilities for comparison films.
- Copies Radiology films and reports.
- Reports any equipment malfunction.
- Accepts responsibilities accurately as assigned by their supervisor.
- Works independently.
