About The Position
Baylor Scott and White The Heart Hospital – Dallas is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist/Cath Lab Tech for its Invasive Cardiology department at 621 N Hall Street, Dallas, Texas. This is a full-time day-shift position with rotating days off. STEMI and on-call coverage are required; call requirements vary by location. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Candidates must graduate from an RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R program within six months of hire. An associate degree is listed as the education requirement, with two years of work experience above the minimum qualification accepted as an alternative. The position requires less than one year of experience. ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Candidates must meet one of the listed certification and registration combinations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R program within six months of hire.
- Associate degree, or two years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Less than one year of experience.
- Obtain ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Obtain BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Meet one of the listed certification combinations: ARRT-R and MRT through the Texas Medical Board; RCIS; RCES; CEPS; or CCDS.
- Work a full-time day shift with rotating days off and provide required STEMI and on-call coverage.
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital experience in a procedural setting such as IR, EP, or Cath Lab.
- Certification in one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R.
