Radiology/Cath Lab Tech
About The Position
Baylor Scott and White The Heart Hospital – Dallas is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist/Cath Lab Tech in the Invasive Cardiology department. The role is full-time, day shift, with rotating days off. STEMI and on-call coverage are required, with requirements varying by location. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Candidates must graduate from an RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R program within six months of hire. The position requires an associate degree or two years of work experience beyond the minimum qualification. The employer will consider candidates with six months of experience but prefers one or more years. ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Candidates must meet one of the listed radiology, invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac-device certification/licensure pathways.
Requirements
- Graduate of an RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R program within six months of hire.
- Associate degree or two years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- At least six months of experience will be considered; one or more years is preferred.
- ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Must meet one of these certification/licensure pathways: ARRT-R and MRT through the Texas Medical Board; RCIS; RCES; CEPS; or CCDS.
- STEMI and on-call coverage are required; requirements vary by location.
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital experience in a procedural setting, such as IR, EP, or Cath Lab.
- Certification in one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT-R.
- One or more years of experience.
