About The Position
The Associate Director reports directly to the Administrator for the Department Radiology, Laboratory, and Pathology may be assigned to any Department/Division/Specialty within the scope as identified by the Chair/Administrator and is responsible for daily operations, patient throughput, and coordination of care delivery. This individual can problem solve, troubleshoot and resolve problems arising from daily operations. This individual is accountable for the operational performance by building a cohesive team and establishing a positive working relationship with the medical staff sufficient to encourage volume growth, efficient patient care processes, quality clinical outcomes, and information systems necessary to support reliable outcomes reporting.

- Develop and maintain a positive relationship and interaction with other Service Line leaders towards the enhancement of physician, patient, and employee satisfaction, and quality improvement initiatives
- Organizes, delegates, and coordinates the activities of the assigned services
- Supports medical and administrative staff within each assigned department
- Takes a leadership role in developing policy and standards for patient care services
- Providing service to adult populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served
