About The Position

The Radiology Assistant functions as a PACS Super User and assists radiologists and coworkers with the use of PACS, RIS, and the radiologists’ reading system, Clario. The role troubleshoots and resolves issues involving these systems and works with image archiving and imaging-system (PACS) troubleshooting. It requires working knowledge of radiology records for imaging and reports. The assistant also supports radiologists with phone calls, WET READ results, and worklist management.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in healthcare or a relevant industry.
• High school diploma, GED, or certificate.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to meet and communicate with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to handle difficult customers or situations.
• Knowledge of a Radiology Information System (RIS) and commonly used computer applications in radiology and other hospital-based systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
