About The Position

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, through its affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and New York City Health + Hospitals/Queens, is seeking a full-time Radiologist to provide regional emergency imaging coverage. This is an entirely remote position that can be performed from anywhere within the United States. The schedule is one week on followed by two weeks off, with shifts from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The role offers a flexible remote work arrangement and an established, collegial department with a longstanding record of physician retention.

The Radiologist will interpret emergency diagnostic imaging for patients at Elmhurst and Queens Hospital Center and provide accurate, timely interpretations across a range of acute clinical presentations. The position includes a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, commensurate with credentials, experience, and qualifications. A competitive compensation and benefits package, including CME, is offered. The stated compensation range is $520,000 to $520,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, and benefits.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Radiology.
• Valid New York State license, DEA, and Medicaid number.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to collaboration and service within a team-oriented health system.

Nice To Haves

• Neuro or Body fellowship training is preferred.
• Experience in emergency radiology.
