About The Position

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, through its affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and New York City Health + Hospitals/Queens, is seeking a full-time Radiologist to provide regional emergency imaging coverage. This is an entirely remote position that can be performed from anywhere within the United States. The schedule is one week on followed by two weeks off, with shifts from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time (EST/EDT).

The Radiologist will interpret emergency diagnostic imaging studies for patients at Elmhurst and Queens Hospital Center. The position is part of an established Radiology department described as stable, collegial, and having very low turnover. A faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is offered, commensurate with credentials, experience, and qualifications. The compensation range is $520,000 to $520,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, and benefits.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Radiology.
• Valid New York State license, DEA, and Medicaid number.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to collaboration and service within a team-oriented health system.
• Experience in emergency radiology.

Nice To Haves

• Neuro or Body fellowship training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies for emergency department patients at Elmhurst and Queens Hospital Center.
• Provide accurate and timely interpretations across a range of acute clinical presentations.
