The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible veterinary radiologist to join our expanding Department of Diagnostic Imaging part-time. Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible veterinarian in the American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.
- Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the State of New York.
- Strong interest and clinical competence in small animal radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, CT and MRI.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team in a collegial teaching environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies for the teaching hospital and referral veterinarians.
- Working some weekends.
- Institutional committee work.
- Continuing education.
- Contributing to professional organizations.
- Instructing and supervising interns and residents in internal medicine, critical care, and surgery.
- Participation in research.
