About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site position for a body imaging radiologist at a major federal medical center located in Lake Nona, Orlando, FL. The role involves working days only, Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties, nights, or weekends. The facility is a 370-bed federal medical center, one of the largest in its national system, serving over 145,000 patients. The radiology department is fully equipped with advanced technology, including AI-assisted nodule detection, and adheres to American College of Radiology practice parameters. The radiologist will join a two-radiologist team covering the department daily.

Requirements

• Active, full and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Radiology.
• Fellowship training in body or abdominal imaging (or substantial body imaging practice experience).
• At least three continuous years of practice as a diagnostic radiologist within the last four years, with current proficiency in CT, MRI, ultrasound and diagnostic X-ray.
• No history of a restricted, suspended, surrendered, revoked or denied medical license in any state.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CT and MRI of the abdomen and pelvis, plus chest CT including lung cancer screening.
• Share general diagnostic reading with your on-site partner: plain film, fluoroscopy and general ultrasound.
• Consult in person with referring clinicians in oncology, surgery, GI and primary care.
• Meet a steady, reasonable productivity standard of about 35 wRVUs per day.
• Follow ACR practice parameters and take part in departmental quality and peer review.
