About The Position

Mitchell Technical College (MTC) is seeking a highly organized and clinical-focused professional to fill the dual role of Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator / Faculty Instructor for our Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program. This full-time faculty position begins August 2026. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or associate’s degree and willingness to obtain a bachelor's degree.
  • Current professional credentials in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum of two (3) years of professional clinical experience in the radiologic sciences.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare partners.
  • Must successfully pass a state and federal criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, oversee, and evaluate the program's clinical education component across all regional healthcare affiliates.
  • Maintain regular liaison with clinical preceptors, conduct routine clinical site visits to ensure a safe and compliant learning environment, and ensure clinical education adheres perfectly to JRCERT standards.
  • Evaluate, log, and track student clinical progress, procedural competencies, and overall professional skill proficiency.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality lesson plans for didactic and laboratory courses on campus.
  • Coordinate and lead clinical orientations for students and clinical preceptors, managing the student placement process fairly and systematically.
