About The Position
The Radiology Technologist ICC position is a Full Time role within Urgent Care/Immediate Care. This role involves preparing patients for exams, performing radiographic exams, and reviewing radiographs for quality. Additionally, the technologist will have dual responsibilities within MA/phlebotomy work, with training provided. Information and images must be completed and submitted to RIS in a timely manner.
Requirements
- License: IEMA licensing required
- Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
- Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
Nice To Haves
- Previous radiology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
- Perform radiographic exams
- Dual responsibilities within MA/phlebotomy work and training will be provided
- Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
- Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
