About The Position

Medical City Denton is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for weekend hours, Friday through Sunday from 0630 to 1900. New graduates are welcome to apply. The technologist performs radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders, provides quality patient care and customer service, and helps maintain department standards and operations. The role includes call and holiday coverage, equipment quality control, documentation, radiation safety, and participation in department initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of a radiography vocational school.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or ARC; must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• At least one year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality radiologic procedures according to physician orders.
• Provide quality patient care and excellent customer service.
• Participate in call and holiday coverage.
• Maintain competencies and current knowledge of procedures.
• Participate in equipment quality control.
• Complete records and documentation.
• Practice radiation safety.
• Participate in department initiatives.
