About The Position
The Radiologist Technologist performs diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. This is a full-time weekend position working 3x12 hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 6:30 PM to 8:00 AM, located on the main campus and working with an adult patient population. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation stipend are offered for full-time positions, though not applicable to current or recently employed VUMC staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (Required)
- LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others
- Relevant Work Experience
- Less than 1 year experience
Responsibilities
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
- Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
