About The Position

Performs examinations of patients of all ages for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.

Requirements

• Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the hospital, as well as the focus statement of the department.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Willingness to work under direct supervision of technologist on duty and be effective and efficient in performing duties.
• Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic information in each examination performed.
• Possess professional oral and written communication skills.
• Enrolled in an approved two-year Radiologic Technology Program.
• Must be classified as Senior or second year student which will be registry eligible upon graduation.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Emotional and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
• Much standing and walking.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
