About The Position
Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) for its Gate Parkway location in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a flexible, as-needed role in an outpatient-only environment, with shifts based on staffing needs and the technologist’s availability. The position may suit an experienced technologist seeking supplemental income, additional hours, or a flexible schedule. There are no call or overnight shifts. The technologist performs diagnostic X-ray examinations and supports safe, comfortable, high-quality patient care. The role works collaboratively with radiologists, technologists, and other team members, and may assist with procedures such as arthrograms and with other imaging departments as needed. Requirements
- Current ARRT(R) certification.
- Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current BLS certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of clinical radiologic technology experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Review patient medical histories and verify physician orders before examinations.
- Explain procedures to patients and support their comfort, safety, and understanding.
- Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation protection guidelines.
- Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Assist radiologists with procedures, including arthrograms, as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and examination records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to support efficient patient care.
- Assist other imaging departments and with operational needs as appropriate.
- Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and properly stocked.
