About The Position

HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the imaging team. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the radiologist, provide X-ray services to patients, closely follow physician's instructions, appropriately position patients, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately record the requested images. The position is full-time, with evening hours, and is located at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role involves working within a healthcare system that has served communities for over 145 years, focusing on continuous improvement, advanced technologies, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • May accept limited and/or temporary permits/licenses for a period of 12 months.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience is preferred.
