Requirements

  • ARRT certification and current registry
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable and motivated to work in the OR
  • A commitment to excellence and patient-centered care
  • Excitement and skill working in a fast-paced Trauma setting
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography Required
  • Graduate Radiologic Technology Required

Nice To Haves

  • Possible paid cross-modality training after 1-year of full-time employment in this role.
  • 1 Year Clinical - Radiology Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images under the direct order of a physician in the OR.
  • Support multiple clinical areas across the hospital, including: Emergency Department, Operating Room, Pediatrics, Fluoroscopy, Portable Imaging, Outpatient Procedures.
  • Produce clear, accurate radiographs and maintaining strong image quality using radiologic or magnetic imaging equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures; communicating any changes or abnormalities promptly.
  • Adjust equipment per protocols, performing minor maintenance, and reporting major issues.
  • Document diagnostic information accurately within the electronic medical record.
  • Work closely with physicians and specialists in reviewing imaging findings.
  • Set proper exposure, angles, and distances according to exam specifications.
  • Review orders, prepare equipment, and prioritize workflow to ensure efficiency.
  • Explain procedures in a clear, calming way to support patient understanding and ease anxiety.
