Requirements

  • Certification from radiology organization such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certification in Computerized Tomography (CT).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in hospital setting.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Image Gently and Image Wisely certificate/training.
  • Provide immunization records as proof of immunity or disease prior to the performance of work.
  • Be sensitive to the unique culture factors of the people treated at CSU, which may include use of an interpreter as necessary in communication of services being rendered. Unique cultural factors that may contribute to the patients’ treatment include: use of their language communications; village and tribal customs; use of traditional healers; isolation; housing conditions and lack of resources.
  • Technologists shall be clean and neat in appearance and comply with the Service Unit dress code for professional Radiologic Technologist and present themselves in a professional manner commensurate with the nature of the profession and line of work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Diagnostic Radiologist Technologist and computed Tomography examinations.
  • Perform all clerical duties involved, (RPMS, EHR, training and PACS systems).
  • Ensure all quality control of patient demographics and Imagery performed.
  • Independently perform Computed Tomography examinations.
  • May be required to work beyond the scheduled cover hours due to emergency cases.
  • Complete CSU mandatory training monthly or as needed.
  • Provide on-site or on-call services.
  • Other duties as assigned.
