About The Position

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our Maplewood Clinic and Specialty Center in Maplewood, MN! This is a .63 FTE (50 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 3:30PM - 8:30PM. No weekends! This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The Specialty Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in multiple ambulatory settings and locations. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for patients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The specialty radiologic technologist supports all imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general x-ray performed the ambulatory setting. Provides assist in the opening of the supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases as well as responding to codes, trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

  • ARRT Certification/Registration
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • B.S./B.A.
  • 3 years experience as a technologist in a hospital setting
  • Advanced Imaging modality certification

  • Completes quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
