About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a compassionate PRN Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and support patient care. The position is scheduled every Sunday, with additional shifts available as needed for coverage. The role operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, prepares and positions patients, documents procedures, communicates with the care team, follows radiation safety standards and hospital policies, and helps maintain imaging equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration.
Current state Radiologic Technologist license in the state where the facility is located.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Proficiency in operating radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
Ability to use computers, telephones, and other equipment necessary to perform daily responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely and accurately.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Follow radiation safety standards and all hospital policies and procedures.
Assist with maintaining imaging equipment and report operational concerns.
