About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures. The role operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated body areas for patients from neonates through geriatric adults. The position requires the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and to work autonomously with indirect supervision in hospital areas. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta works with a female population over 35 years of age. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., under the Weekend Professional Plan. Weekend work is required; on-call work is not required.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• Be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
