Radiologic Technologist
About The Position
Operates radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs and images. Performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and radiation safety practices. Works directly with patients, radiologists, physicians, and fellow associates. Follows established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Genesys Regional Medical Center. Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide care to the age groups served. The position is located at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. It is part time, 24 hours per week, with a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a weekend and holiday rotation. It is part-time benefit eligible.
Requirements
- Equivalent of a high school diploma.
- Completion of an accredited two-year radiology program.
- BLS Provider certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, obtained within 90 days of hire or job transfer.
- Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), obtained within 180 days of hire or job transfer; alternatively, certification by the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists (ARCRT), with renewal required.

- Radiology work experience is preferred, but not required.
