Radiologic Technologist Sign-on bonus
About The Position
Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients within demonstrated competency and under the direction of a qualified physician. Performs Radiology Tech II responsibilities with the addition of one of the following areas: interventional, dental, or OR. Duties include positioning patients to demonstrate correct anatomy or pathology; operating radiation-producing equipment and electronic radiology systems; preparing the patient room, equipment, and medications; maintaining adequate supply inventory; explaining examinations and procedures to patients; and completing departmental documentation.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or trade school certificate.
- ARRT certification. Grandfathered staff at the time of the merger with military radiologic technologist training are accepted in lieu of ARRT registry.
- One year of experience.
Responsibilities
