About The Position

Prisma Health Urgent Care is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging and hands-on patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting. The role focuses on accurate X-ray imaging, radiation safety, and positive patient experiences, while also supporting other clinical and front-office needs. The position is full-time with three 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM; part-time and PRN options are also available. There are no overnight shifts. Weekend work and rotating holidays are required.

Requirements

• Successfully complete an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-approved educational program.
• Hold current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R).
• Hold certification in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
• Hold an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Be proficient with EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications.
• Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging, including proper patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to support accurate results and patient safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support patient care and satisfaction.
• Perform vital signs and triage, and assist with basic patient care tasks as needed.
• Support front-office functions and maintain inventory and supplies.
