About The Position

ConvenientMD is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiology services and hands-on clinical support in fast-paced urgent care clinics. The role combines radiologic expertise with medical assistant responsibilities to help patients receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment. The technologist performs imaging in accordance with ConvenientMD and ARRT protocols, supports patient triage and diagnostic testing, and contributes to compassionate, patient-centered care. Additional duties include maintaining equipment and supplies, keeping accurate records, supporting quality assurance, and collaborating with clinic colleagues and external providers. The posting notes that full-time team members may be eligible for competitive sign-on bonus opportunities; additional incentives may be available for highly experienced full-time RTs in Massachusetts who can travel to multiple locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• State licensed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification; CPR, ACLS, and online-only classes are not accepted.
• 1–2 years of experience in radiology and patient care; urgent care or emergency-setting experience is preferred.
• Compassionate, authentic, patient-focused approach and ability to contribute to a sense of belonging.
• Proactive, confident written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to raise concerns directly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and willingness and ability to learn multiple systems.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Experience in urgent care or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform radiologic procedures in accordance with ConvenientMD and ARRT protocols.
• Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment while following radiation-safety requirements and ALARA principles.
• Position patients for imaging and document studies in EMR and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists on study interpretation, manage discrepancies, and coordinate outside imaging requests.
• Switch between Radiologic Technologist and Medical Assistant responsibilities as needed.
• Conduct patient triage, including taking vital signs, obtaining medical histories, and performing observational examinations.
• Provide laboratory and diagnostic testing, screenings, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
• Perform vision, hearing, drug screening, pulmonary function, and point-of-care tests such as strep, flu, RSV, glucose, and urinalysis.
• Maintain clean and sterile examination rooms and instruments.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with ConvenientMD policies and clinical care standards.
• Manage radiology supply inventory and submit orders as needed.
• Maintain medical equipment through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
• Participate in quality-control and quality-assurance studies.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and ConvenientMD protocols.
• Support onboarding and training for new clinic team members.
• Collaborate and communicate with colleagues and external providers to support seamless patient care.
