About The Position

Radiologic Technologists are responsible for performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including any necessary room preparation. They explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain complete patient histories. Additionally, they perform clerical duties essential for the efficient operation of the unit. Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist assists physicians during invasive procedures and provides basic patient care as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 months experience and/or training required
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
• ARRT certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and obtains complete patient history.
• Performs clerical duties necessary to the efficient operation of the unit.
• Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist will assist physicians during invasive procedures and provide basic patient care as needed by any patient.
