Radiologic Technologists are responsible for performing clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation. They explain radiographic procedures to patients, obtain complete patient histories, and perform clerical duties necessary for the efficient operation of the unit. Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist will assist physicians during invasive procedures and provide basic patient care as needed.

Requirements

1-3 months experience and/or training required
Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
ARRT certification required

Responsibilities

Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and obtains complete patient history.
Performs clerical duties necessary to the efficient operation of the unit.
Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist will assist physicians during invasive procedures and provide basic patient care as needed by any patient.
