About The Position
Jefferson Health is hiring a per-diem Radiologic Technologist at its Frankford location. The role performs clinical diagnostic examinations and necessary room preparation, explains procedures to patients, obtains complete patient histories, and carries out clerical duties that support efficient unit operations. Under a Radiologist’s supervision, the technologist assists physicians during invasive procedures and provides basic patient care as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 months of experience and/or training.
- Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
- ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
- Explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain complete patient histories.
- Perform clerical duties necessary for efficient unit operations.
- Under the supervision of a Radiologist, assist physicians during invasive procedures.
- Provide basic patient care as needed.
