About The Position

Radiologic Technologists at Jefferson Health perform clinical diagnostic examinations, including preparing the examination room. They explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain complete patient histories, and perform clerical duties needed for efficient unit operations. Under a Radiologist’s supervision, they assist physicians during invasive procedures and provide basic patient care as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 months of experience and/or training.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
• Explain radiographic procedures to patients and obtain complete patient histories.
• Perform clerical duties necessary for efficient unit operations.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide basic patient care as needed.
