About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams and provides a high level of customer service and image quality. The role requires providing appropriate, compassionate, holistic care to patients across the populations served, while respecting their rights and dignity. The technologist uses knowledge of patient growth and development across the lifespan to assess age-specific needs and supports patients and families in learning and incorporating teaching. The role also requires knowledge of radiology department equipment and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams while maintaining image quality and customer service.
• Provide appropriate care for the patient populations served in the department.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and assess patients’ age-specific needs.
• Assess patients’ and families’ ability to learn and incorporate teaching.
