About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Radiologic Technologist performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures requested by a licensed physician. The role exercises professional judgment in providing health care services and applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosing or treating patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. The technologist completes established position competencies within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

The schedule is full-time days, Thursday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT within one year post-graduation.
• AHA BLS certification.
• State license if required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Rotate through advanced diagnostic radiology areas, including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
• Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
• Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
