Radiologic Technologist (Flexi- As needed)
About The Position
Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is seeking a Flexi (as needed) rotating shift Radiologic Technologist. Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. Performs Radiology Tech I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: Fluoroscopy or based in hospital/standing ED. Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.
Requirements
- Trade School Radiology program
- ARRT Required upon hire

Responsibilities
