We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist who can prioritize tasks in a demanding work environment and able to work a minimum of 2 days per week (16+ hours, every Tuesday required).

  • Ability to communicate clearly with patient to explain the procedure, answer questions and relay information about what to expect during the procedure
  • Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner to both internally and externally
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated. Is proactive, committed, has high standards, and does what it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to work independently and to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences (required)
  • Current ARRT license (required)
  • Licensed by the state of Kansas Board of Healing Arts (required or must obtain upon hire)

  • BLS certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic procedures as ordered by provider
  • Position patient for proper view of the affected area
  • Effectively communicate with patient during the exam to answer questions and direct patient to proper positioning
  • Properly edit, crop, and annotate images
  • Quality check images
  • Practice radiation safety
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA and company policies and procedures
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned
