About The Position

Administers fluoroscopy to patients. Operates x-ray equipment, performs written and special duties and prepares the Cath Labs, equipment, and supplies. Requirements

  • AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology - Required
  • Training and Experience - Required
  • Must have two (2) or more years of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Lab performing 1,000 procedures or more per year.
  • Radiologic Technologist - Certified (CRT) Current California Required
  • ARRT-Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License Required
  • CRT Fluoroscopy - California Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch Required
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required

Nice To Haves

  • Maintains and acquires CE units as required by the State/National agencies

Responsibilities

  • Scrub interventional procedures, including wire management, rotational artheretomy, and stent deployment.
  • Manage all aspects of an interventional imaging radiology suite.
