Saint Joseph East also includes the Women's Hospital at Saint Joseph East which is dedicated to supporting the well-being of women in Central and Eastern Kentucky and serves a 16-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Responsibilities
- Perform diverse diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI), producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Expertly operate complex equipment, position patients for various examinations, and maintain records while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for optimal imaging.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
- Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
- Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
- Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
