About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support high-quality patient care. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to excellent patient care.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (including military training programs acceptable)
• ARRT certification and registration required
• Active Radiologic Technologist license from New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification
• Follow radiation safety protocols at all times
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging rooms and equipment
• Accurately document procedures and patient information
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Adhere to radiation protection and quality assurance guidelines
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients
• Support efficient department workflow and operations
