About The Position

This position offers a Monday – Friday 8am-430pm schedule with no weekends or holidays, providing a good work-life balance. The radiologic technologist will deliver meaningful, high-quality, patient-centered care to the Glens Falls and Adirondack community.

Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
1+ years of radiologic technologist experience in an Operating Room.
Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License.
Active ARRT registration.
Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire)

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality radiographic & fluoroscopic exams safely and accurately according to established departmental protocols
Provide excellent customer service, patient education, and radiation safety checks during all imaging procedures
Maintain precise patient records across our Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS platforms
Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for imaging students rotating through our clinical settings
Collaborate on workflow improvement projects, assist with patient transport, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a clean, stocked imaging environment
Work directly with the radiologist, surgeons and nurses to perform a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures that require judgment, ingenuity and radiation protection practices, while responding to any of the patient’s special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs.
Provide a lead role for the coordination of procedures performed in the operating room services.
