About The Position

We are seeking a Radiologic Tech – Lithotripsy to ensure pre-procedure room and equipment setup, select proper exposure, and determine target and shock waves to be delivered with input from the Urology Physician. The role involves operating the Lithotripter according to policies and procedures, performing radiology procedures related to urology, live fluoro, MD’s cystograms, KUB, and others. The technologist will work with patients to prep them and perform/assist with procedures related to radiology and other types of procedures. Additionally, the role includes troubleshooting equipment/technology issues and working with students to educate and demonstrate methodology of procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License Required
  • CPR certification within 90 Days Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Preferred
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
  • Certified as Renal Lithotripsy Specialist Preferred
