About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist performs patient-oriented procedures and tasks at all LLUHC Orthopedic Clinic sites, within the scope of their education and training, and under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. Administers Roentgen rays to patients as prescribed and within the State of California Department of Health Services' Scope of Practice for the CRT (Certified Radiology Technician). Operates and maintains all radiology equipment in the clinic. Prepares the patients, equipment, and supplies prior to exams. Processes films. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) Radiology Technologist Program required.
  • California Certified Radiology Technologist (CRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Able to read.
  • Able to write legibly.
  • Able to speak in English.
  • Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position.
  • Able to troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Able to be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies.
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Able to lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate.

Nice To Haves
