About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist II will perform radiographic exams, obtain and record patient history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort. This role oversees the ortho workflow and efficiency, prioritizing patient experience and departmental professionalism. Responsibilities include handling patient recovery, monitoring exam delays and productivity trends, acting as a liaison with the practice manager, and maintaining productive relationships with employees. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad. The technologist will also perform evaluations, ensure staff compliance with licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and flu shots, onboard new employees, schedule for front desk, CT, MRI, and xray, place supply orders, address equipment and building issues, and assist at sites as needed.

Requirements

  • IEMA licensing required
  • Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
  • CPR certification required
  • ARRT registered
  • 2-3 years of previous tech experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

Responsibilities

  • Stay on top of exam delays and keep track of trends in productivity.
  • Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in medical group.
  • Perform evaluations.
  • Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.
  • Onboard new employees.
  • Does scheduling for front desk, CT, MRI, and xray
  • Places supply orders
  • Addresses equipment and building issues with the appropriate parties
  • Assists where there are needs at that sites
