About The Position

This is a Full-Time position for a Radiologic Technologist I, working Day shifts from Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. The role is located at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is available for qualified candidates, with eligibility and payout terms to be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

Mammography Experience Required.
Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required (Effective July 1, 2017).
Current BCLS (AHA).
Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform Diagnostic Radiographic or other procedures according to department protocols.
Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history.
Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times.
Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images, be able to perform C-Arm for fluoroscopic imaging and understand the fluoroscopy imaging techniques.
Maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
