About The Position

Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join their exceptional care team. In this role, you will float between Orange, Milford, Trumbull and Shelton, contributing to high-quality patient care across their practice. Connecticut Orthopaedics has been serving patients in the greater New Haven area for over 60 years and has become the largest privately-owned orthopaedic practice in New England. They are the team of orthopaedic physicians for multiple colleges and high schools, and have their own physical therapy centers. In addition to their orthopaedic service line, they have three MRI suites, (5) acute care orthopaedic walk-in centers and a surgery center in Branford.

Requirements

Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut.

Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements

Responsibilities

Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience
